Kimberly Kim finishes tied for 22nd at NCAA golf

University of Denver's Kimberly Kim, a former Big Island resident, shot a 3-over-par 75 today and finished tied for 22nd at the NCAA Women's Golf Championship in Wilmington, N.C.
Kim's four-round score was 5-over 293.
Caroline Hedwall of Oklahoma State was the medalist after a 68—276. Purdue won the team title, a stroke ahead of Southern California.
UCLA's Stephanie Kono, of Honolulu, finished tied for 43rd (74—296). New Mexico's Britney Choy, a Leilehua alum, finished tied for 54th at 74—298.
