Police yesterday arrested two more suspects in Sunday's armed home invasion robbery in Pālolo.

That makes four men in custody for the robbery, which police say may have been committed by as many as five people.

Kainoa Ah Mook Sang, 20, of Kaululā'au Street in Papakōlea, was booked yesterday on one count of first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary.

Police also arrested Lemuel Jones, 24, on similar counts.

Both men remained in police custody last night pending charges.

Ah Mook Sang was arrested at 6:25 a.m. yesterday at Puowaina Drive and Ho'okui Street on a $300 contempt-of-court warrant, police said. At about 4:30 p.m., he was booked on the additional robbery and burglary counts.

Jones was arrested at 8:55 p.m. yesterday. Details of his arrest were not immediately available.

Two other men have been charged in connection with this case. Jordan K. Artuyo, 18, who gave no local address, and Justin Lono, 28, of Tantalus Drive, are charged with robbery, burglary and kidnapping and remain in custody on $350,000 bail.

Artuyo surrendered shortly before 6 a.m. Sunday and Lono was found hiding behind rocks on a hillside above the home about 11:20 a.m., police said.

The men are suspected of breaking into a home on the 2000 block of 10th Avenue shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday. Two of the men were armed with sawed-off shotguns, one had a black handgun, and the suspects also had two knives, a police affidavit said.

The robbers tied up six college-age men and pointed shotguns at the heads of several of the men, police said.

One of the victims said the barrel of a shotgun was placed in his mouth by one of the suspects while another held a knife to his throat, the affidavit said.

A female occupant of the home was not bound, police said.

Four men suffered minor injuries, including lacerations and knife puncture wounds.
