Small herb gardens fitted into 1930s and '40s enameled pots, tubs and tea kettles are featured at a vintage sale under way at Wai'oli Tea Room, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Garden combinations include peppermint, chives, parsley, thyme, sweet marjoram, mini basil, mint and violets.

The free event, on the lanai of the historic tea room, 2950 Manoa Road, also includes "shabby chic" and cottage vintage, Victorian and country-style collectibles and decor, plus water lilies and other plants. Additional information is available online at www.thewaiolitearoom.net.
