This weekends Building Industry Association home show, "Seek Professional Help . . . Before Its Too Late," features more than 100 exhibitors in every aspect of the building and remodeling industries at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.

In addition, there are dozens of seminars and demonstrations ranging on topics from roofing to new food recipes. Special events include cooking demonstrations by Island chefs tonight, a backhoe exhibit and rodeo competition all day tomorrow, a high-speed cooking competition tomorrow afternoon, and a "Hand-held Power Tools He-man Competition" throughout the weekend.
The schedule of hour-long Remodel-it-Right seminars is: 7:30 tonight, 1:30 p.m. tomorrow and 10:30 a.m. Sunday; these classes cover general remodeling practices. Other topics include battling termites, home security, efficient home cooling, buying new cabinets and resurfacing decks and patios.
The show is sponsored by the Building Industry Association of Hawaii. It runs 5-9:30 tonight, 10 a.m.-9:30 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. Admission is $4 (children under 12 are free). Parking is $3.
