Jason Rivers scored 13 points, Jose Vidad added 11 and J.P. Kanoa 10 as St. Louis defeated Kamehameha, 55-36, in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu game last night at Iolani.
The Crusaders claimed the third and final ILH state tournament berth with their victory. Iolani and Punahou have already qualified for the tournament, which starts Wednesday and ends Feb. 24.
St. Louis has beaten Kamehameha three times this season.

Maui claims MIL basketball title: Dionisuo Dante scored 15 points and Les Johnson added 13 as Maui rallied to defeat Baldwin, 42-31, to win the Maui Interscholastic League title last night at War Memorial Gym.
Maui will be one of four seeded teams at the state tournament on Oahu.
The Sabers outscored the Bears 32-15 in the second half.

WRESTLING
New tournament: The Interscholastic League of Honolulu will hold its first dual-meet tournament today on four mats at Punahous Hemmeter gym, with team place-points added to regular-season totals.
All six varsity and junior varsity teams will compete. At 10 a.m., fourth-seed Punahou will meet the winner of a coin flip between Damien and Pac-Five, which tied for fifth and will flip a coin for the No. 5 seed. At the same time, third-seeded Iolani will meet the loser of the coin flip.
At 11:20 a.m., top-seeded St. Louis will meet the winner of the match involving Punahou, and second-seeded Kamehameha will meet the winner of the match involving Iolani. The losers will meet for third place at 1:30 p.m., and the winners for first place at 3:30. The junior varsity teams will follow the same time schedule, but the seeds will be different.
Entering the tournament, St. Louis leads the league with 36 championship points. Kamehameha has 30, and Punahou and Iolani each have 24. The winning team today picks up 30 points, second place 24, third 18, fourth 12 and so on.
But the championship race wont be over. On Feb. 24 the ILH will hold its championship tournament and those team place-points will also be added.
PEP SQUADS
ILH championships: Kamehamehas cheerleaders, coming off a fourth-place finish in a national competition last weekend, will be the team to beat in the first Interscholastic League of Honolulu Pep Squad Championships today.
The event will begin at 11 a.m. at Kamehamehas Kekuhaupio Gym. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
Five varsity and two junior varsity teams will compete.
Kamehamehas 11-member team finished fourth among 62 schools in the small varsity division of the Universal Cheerleading Associations national championships at Orlando, Fla.
Speaking of todays first official ILH meet, Kamehameha coach Dolly Wong said, "Its great there is a forum for these athletes to be showcased. Lots of people dont understand how much training it takes."
