MUST-SEE: Grammy Awards, 7-10 p.m., CBS: The world is filled with award shows, but few match the Grammys. It offers a wave of music with an emphasis on people who work well live. Performers will include a few longtime stars Madonna, Dolly Parton, U2 and lots of fresher forces. N Sync, Christina Aguilera, Faith Hill, Brad Paisley, Destinys Child and lots of other stars will perform. Nominated for Record of the Year are Madonnas "Music," Macy Grays "I Try," U2s "Beautiful Day," Destinys Childs "Say My Name" and N Syncs "Bye Bye Bye." Three of those "I Try," "Beautiful Day" and "Say My Name" are also up for Song of the Year, which goes to the songwriters. They face two country songs, Hills "Breathe" and Lee Ann Womacks remarkable "I Hope You Dance." Then theres Album of the Year. It has Eminem, Paul Simon, Beck, Radiohead and Steely Dan in competition.
"The Women of Brewster Place," 6 p.m., Fox Family Channel, concludes tomorrow: This above-average miniseries was adapted from Gloria Naylors superb little book. Oprah Winfrey produced and starred in this film, which interlocks the lives of women in a city neighborhood.
"Grounded for Life," 7:30 p.m., Fox: The parents in this show really dont have the notion of sacrificing for their kids. Tonight the dad buys himself a guitar instead of paying for his daughters ski trip.
"Abraham and Mary Lincoln: A House Divided" conclusion, 9 p.m., PBS: The Lincolns felt doomed as the Civil War dragged on.
