MUST-SEE: Finales of "The Mole," 7 p.m., ABC, and "Temptation Island," 8 p.m., Fox: "The Mole" is down to three players. One will be the big winner, one will be ousted - and one will be revealed as having secretly been The Mole all along. Clips will show what The Mole did to subvert the others. Then "Temptation Island" reunites three couples after having them date others in a tropical paradise. We’re supposed to worry about whether they stay together.

MIGHT-SEE: "Some of My Best Friends," 7 p.m., CBS. A young Italian, hunky and heterosexual, wants to be an actor. He moves to Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, not realizing his roommate is gay. It’s based on an independent movie ("Kiss Me, Guido") that was well-received. Danny Nucci and Jason Bateman bring solidity to what could have been cliche roles. Meanwhile, Alec Mapa is a delight as Bateman’s more-flamboyant friend.

"Kennedy Center Presents," 8 p.m., PBS. Carl Reiner has ranged from co-starring on Sid Caesar’s TV show to producing "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and directing Steve Martin movies. Now he receives the Mark Twain Prize for comedy in a night played host by Van Dyke.

"Biography," 6 p.m., A&E. Breaking from its usual form, the show introduces us to civil-rights heroes. A few - basketball star Bill Russell, actors Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee - are well-known; the best segments, however, involve real people whose daily actions changed the world.

"The West Wing," 8 p.m., NBC. Staffers have to hear groups that don’t usually reach the White House.

"Law and Order," 9 p.m., NBC. Cops investigate the death of someone from a reality TV show.
