Coach Jones sitting up; remains in guarded condition
University of Hawai‘i football coach June Jones is now able to sit up for five minutes at a time, family spokesman Artie Wilson said today.

Jones' family thankful for aloha
In a letter distributed to the media yesterday, the parents and siblings of ailing University of Hawai'i football coach June Jones thanked well-wishers for their support.
