Friday funeral set for accident victim

Funeral for Lorrie Ann Wiley, who died in an an automobile accident Jan. 2, will be Friday at St. George’s Catholic Church. Wiley was 32.

Wiley worked as a supply clerk at the Hawaii Air National Guard at Hickam Air Force Base. She was killed when a car driven by a 19-year-old man slammed into her car on Kalanianaole Highway near Olomana Golf Links.

Police said alcohol may have been a factor in the accident. Charges against the man were pending.

Wiley is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Kayla; mother, Lorenza "Loring" Macanas; and brother, Robert Macanas.

Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at St. George’s Catholic Church; service at 7 p.m. Visitation again at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church; Mass at 11:30 a.m.

Burial will follow at the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
