Jonny Lang sets 4 Island concerts

Jonny Lang, the rock and blues guitarist who opened for the Rolling Stones at Aloha Stadium two years ago, will return to Hawaii for a four-night, four-Island gig in February.

K.D Lang is coming to Hawai'i for a four-night, four island tour.
Lang, 20, of Fargo, N.D., performed in a Honolulu Zoo sellout. He has performed at Disney World, on MTV and at the White House, for President Clinton.

Tickets already are on sale. The playdates:

Kauai: Feb. 6, at 6 p.m. (gates open at 5 p.m.), at Kukui Grove Park & Pavilion in Lihue. Also featuring Shilo Pa and Tongue & Groove. Tickets: $28 ($25 in advance), at Kalaheo Coffee Company, Larry’s Music in Kapaa, Kai Kane in Hanalei, Jack Wada in Lihue, Kilauea Farmer’s Market and Progressive Expressions in K¯loa, Wrangler’s Steak House in Waimea, and Pictures Plus at Kukui Grove Mall. Maui: Feb. 8, at 7 p.m. (gates open at 6 p.m.), at the A&B Amphitheater at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului. Also featuring The Tondadoes. Tickets: $35 for Gold Circle with table seating; $30 and $25; at the MACC box office, (808) 242-SHOW.

Honolulu: Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. (gates open at 5:30 p.m.), at Kakaako Waterfront Park. Also featuring Bob Jones and the Hard Drive. Tickets: $28 ($25 in advance), at Tower Video Kapiolani, Tower Records Kahala Mall and Pearl Kai; Hungry Ear in Kailua, Rainbow Books-University, and MWR in Kunia.

Big Island: Feb. 10, at 5:30 p.m., at the Brewhouse Oasis, Kona Brewing Company, in Kailua-Kona. Also featuring Technical Difficulties and Dylan Kai with Moment’s Notice. Tickets: $28 ($25 in advance), at Kona Brewing Company, Mele Kai Music, Kipuka Smoke Shop, Aloha Cafe, Byrds Audio in Waimea, CD Wizard, MJS Music, Hula Ohana in Pahoa, and Kilauea General in Volcano.
