Wilkinson Clinic in Wahiawa has named Dennis I. Ayon as chief executive. Dr. Ayon heads Internal Medicine and is responsible for the overall operation of the clinic.

Scott Wallace, former chief executive officer at Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corp., has been named president and chief executive of Gardenburger Inc., an Oregon-based maker of vegetarian burgers. Gardenburger said in its announcement that during his six years with Mauna Loa, Wallace helped expansion and reversed a trend of declining revenue.

Wallace’s replacement at Mauna Loa is Darrell Askey, who previously was president and chief operating officer of Sportpharma USA, a sports nutrition company. The Shansby Group, a San Francisco-based private equity partnership, acquired Mauna Loa last year from C.Brewer & Co.

Six D Studios announced several new positions: Lisa Devlin named project manager, overseeing projects and integrating customer needs with the design and technical teams; Rick Makoul, who was most recently with Square USA, named a graphic designer; Song Choi promoted from marketing strategist to account executive, responsible for acquiring new accounts and acting as a liaison between the company and clients.

PCF Virtual recently appointed Tara Bui as account manager.

Norman Higashi has been named hotel manager of the Ohana Waikiki Tower. Higashi joined Ohana Hotels’ sister company, Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, in 1993 as assistant food & beverage manager for the Outrigger Waikoloa Beach. He most recently was executive assistant manager.

Robert McConnell has been named general manager at the recently opened Outrigger Reef Fiji. McConnell has been the interim hotel manager since September, replacing Ted Hardie, who returned to Hawaii as general manager of the Outrigger-managed Kanaloa at Kona resort condo on the Big Island. McConnell has been with Outrigger Hotels & Resorts since 1988.

Gail Tiwanak has been promoted to vice president, organizational planning and communication, at the Queen’s Medical Center. Tiwanak has been with Queen’s since 1972.

Hawaii-based marketing firm Professional Results Inc. has promoted Kandace Andrade to sales and marketing director. She previously was an account executive with the company. Cynthia Zaitz has been hired as senior account executive, responsible for agency sales, event sponsorship and marketing. Anna Lyn Agpaoa has been hired as marketing assistant specializing in graphic design. Wendy Wong has been hired as a sales account executive, responsible for sales and marketing in the Ewa and Leeward areas.

Skip Boock has been named branch manager at Western Traction Co., responsible for all of the company’s operations in Hawaii.

Ron Panzo, general manager of Nick’s Fishmarket, Maui, has been named director of operations, Maui. He will oversee both Nick’s Fishmarket Maui and the new Sarento’s on the Beach, scheduled for completion in late February.

First Hawaiian Bank announced the following vice president promotions to senior vice president: Nelson S. Awaya, PC and Network Services; Casey S. Copus, program manager, First Investment Center; Thomas W. Dixon, Branch Loan Administration division; Melvin T. Frietas, Dealer Center Division; Miles S. Miyabara, Consumer Credit Division; Neal T. Okamoto, Trust and Investments Division; Gordon M. Uechi, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary, legal department; Donald P. Yannell, area manager, Waikiki Branch.

First Hawaiian Bank also announced that the following officers have been named vice presidents: Brent E. Helgeson, consumer service center; Sayle K. Hirashima, controller’s division; Naomi C.T. Sato, branch support division
