Chicago returns to Hawai'i for one night

After a 20-year absence from the Island scene, Chicago, the powerhouse group named after the Windy City, will return to Hawaii for a concert at 7:30 p.m. March 29 at the Waikiki Shell.

The group, which has defined pop music since the 1960s with its jazz-accented riffs, has been one of the industry’s most durable, with world record sales of more than 120 million and a track record that includes an astonishing 50 Top 100 hits (20 invading the Top 10, five making it to No. 1).

Tickets: $50 reserved pool and lower terrace; $35 reserved upper terrace; $25 advance sales of unreserved grass section seating ;$30 day of show; on sale 9 a.m. Saturday, Blaisdell box office and all Ticket Plus outlets, including Foodland and Sack N Save statewide,Tempo Music statewide, House of Music Ala Moana, the University of Hawaii Campus Center and MWR Kunia.
