Loyal Garner postpones Mother's Day show
Because of ongoing chemotherapy treatments at Straub Hospital, singer Loyal Garner has been forced to postpone her annual Mother's Day concert slated May 12, a day before Mother's Day, at the Sheraton Waikiki's Hawaii Ballroom.

Ho'aikane re-issues CD of live performances
Hoaikane was one of Hawaii's seminal Jawaiian acts, quick to adopt reggae rhythms and apply that genre's contagious moods to the Island experience. This new release, the group's 10th, was recorded nine years ago over two sessions at Fast Eddie's nightclub in Kailua.
