MUST-SEE: "Out of Sight," 9 p.m., USA Network (1998): Director Steven Soderbergh is the king of Oscarland. His films "Traffic" and "Erin Brockovich" are both nominated for best picture, and both brought him nominations for best director. Here is a chance to see a previous Soderbergh film that shows his wondrous knack for changing his style in each movie. While "Traffic" is gritty and "Erin" is slick, this one is somewhere in between - an intelligent crime thriller with moments of visual beauty. George Clooney plays a bank robber whose prison break has one hitch: He ends up taking a gorgeous FBI agent (Jennifer Lopez) hostage. The film is adapted from a novel by Elmore Leonard, so it includes humor, violence, romance and well-drawn characters.
