Good Luck Waipio from Pacific NW
Waipio LL baseball team: your fans are not only in Hawai'i....we live in the Seattle area and proudly watched you guys on TV make your last come back victory and wanted you to know that there are a bunch of us Hawaiians scattered throughout "the mainland" who are pulling hard for you to go all the way. You all played so well, never gave up even when you were down and perhaps most importantly, you were all so "classy".....Imua and good luck from the Kaopuikis in Seattle!

Hi Coach Clyde!
This is Tracy Higa...just wanted to send you and the boys a BIG congratulations from me and da family!!! We will be rooting for you guys all da way! Heh heh...I was able to get off work early so that I can watch the game today. We are all SOOOOOO proud of the team for making it this far...what a dream come true. When you guys were playing for the regionals in San Bernardino against Idaho, EVERYONE was glued to the TV. It was the COOLEST thing to see all the boys and YOU on ESPN. You are a celebrity now...hahahahaha! I was wearing my Waipio shirt around school the next day...I couldn't get over the excitement! Please tell the boys that they played a hell of a game against Idaho ... at the Little League World Series. Have a good time in Williamsport...our hearts are there with you all. Once again coach, you've done ONE HELL OF A JOB. Thanks for being so great. We'll be cheering our butts off for you and the team. Ok, smile for the cameras now! Hahahaha.
GO WAIPIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go Team!
Born and raised in Hawai'i, graduating from Waipahu HS in what seems many moons ago, I now live in Worcester, MA (I've been living in New England for the last 15+ years). So, this Little League World Series game is particularly exciting for me. And whom am I rooting for? Of course! GO WAIPI'O!!!

Imua to the Waipio Little League Majors
Good luck to the Waipio Little League Majors in their quest to win the World Series in Williamsport, Pa. We all know that you will represent the state of Hawaii with CLASS, and win or lose, you guys are the BEST!!!! After all, you guys are probably the only team with 14 players on the roster. Clyde Tanabe is a classy guy to have taken 14 players, for many of us know it is much easier to manage with only 12 or 13 players. To give the opportunity to be on the all- star team for one or two other kids and for them to experience San Bernardino and now, Williamsport, is a testament to Clyde, his assistant coaches and everyone associated with the Waipio Little League. You guys are all WINNERS already!!!! Again, good luck and I going watch you guys on TV everyday that you guys are on...
Aloha,
