• Bank of Hawaii Chairman Mike O'Neil and the bank's chief economist, Paul Brewbaker, will be among featured speakers Friday at a Kona workshop/seminar dealing with the national, state and Big Island economies since the Sept. 11 attacks. The event, "MONEY TALKS: FINANCIAL TOOLS FOR YOUR BUSINESS," sponsored by the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce and the bank, runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. Besides Brewbaker's opening remarks on post-attack developments, O'Neill will give a luncheon address on business management. • National real estate trends and how they might affect Hawai'i markets will be the focus of the second of three forums on the economy sponsored by the local chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. • "What Makes a Successful Entrepreneur?" is the topic of a luncheon address by Michael H. Morris to the HAWAI'I VENTURE CAPITAL ASSOCIATION. Morris holds the Noborikawa Chair in Entrepreneurship and Marketing at the University of Hawai'i College of Business Administration's department of marketing.
