RONALD K. MIGITA, vice chairman and chief executive officer of City Bank, has been re-elected and installed as president of the Aloha Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Joining him in his 2002 administration are, among others, council commissioner Alfred Fernandes Jr., tax partner with Ernst & Young, and treasurer/president-elect RODNEY R. SHINKAWA, retired president of First Federal Savings and Loan.

ZYRON SCHONIWITZ, former banquet and assistant restaurant manager at Kapolei Golf Course, has been named assistant general manager and maitre d' of the new Morton's of Chicago Honolulu steakhouse. The restaurant, the chain's 61st worldwide, opened in November at Ala Moana Shopping Center.

ARKIE KOEHL has been named president and chief executive of Loomis Inc. advertising agency, succeeding company founder, Jim Loomis. Loomis will continue as company consultant. Koehl has more than 30 years marketing and advertising experience, including with Madison Avenue's Ogilvy & Mather, and major management and account assignments with McCann-Erickson's Mexico City and Tokyo offices.

New officer appointments were announced recently by FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK:

RACHEL J. CHANG, a 10-year banking veteran, named personal banking officer, Pearlridge branch.
DENIS M. HEARN, named trust real estate officer, Trust Real Estate Services. She joined First Hawaiian in 1994 as trust real estate administrator.
ANGELINE K.L.M. SMITH, named personal banking officer, Kane'ohe Bay branch. She joined the bank in 1994 as loan representative and was promoted in 1997 to customer service representative.
CHARLA P. VASCONCELLOS, who joined the bank last year as a service supervisor, named new service manager, Kaimuki branch.

• EyeSight Hawai'i, Laser Eye Center's, director of corporate and community relations, LYN BACLAAN has been named to head this year's Hawai'i Health Care Coalition's participation in the 13th annual Hawai'i Foodbank Food Drive. The statewide collection of money and food is planned for April 27. This is the second year the statewide healthcare industry coalition effort has taken part in the drive. Last year, it collected more than 16,000 pounds of food and more than $3,000.

NESTOR A. LONGBOY, a more than 20-year veteran of commercial property management, most recently an asset manager with The Shidler Group, has been named vice president of the commercial management subsidiary of Hawaiiana Management Co. Ltd.
• Also promoted by Hawaiiana Management co. ltd. is former U.S. Navy captain and pilot RICH WOLTER to Hawaiiana's director of training, standardization and team development. Wolter will oversee training of all incoming property managers and assure standardization of company administrative and service functions.

DAVID OYADOMARI has been named new business marketing manager at SPRINT HAWAI'I. He was most recently director of business development and marketing at local hightech company, hotU Inc.

DIANE M. SHIGETA has been promoted to director, planning and financial analysis, at A&B Properties Inc., the property development and management subsidiary of Alexander & Baldwin Inc. Shigeta retains primary responsibility for the financial evaluation of acquisition, development, property management and sales activities, as well as for company strategic and operating plan activities. Before joining A&B Properties in 1994 as manager, financial planning and analysis, she was manager, investment analysis, for the parent company's corporate planning department.

STEVE LAU has been promoted to manager of real estate services and analysis for Avalon Development and Consulting, provider of real estate consulting services for investors seeking opportunities for ownership, management, development and joint-ownership of select properties in Hawai'i. He was previously project analyst for the company, one of the trade names of Avalon Development Co. LLC.

KENDRA SAWYER, former business sales manager for VERIZON WIRELESS in San Antonio, Texas, has been named to the same position for the company's Honolulu market. Included in her responsibilities will be management for the small and large business and government accounts and staff.
