Here's what will be open and closed for Independence Day tomorrow.

GOVERNMENT

  • Federal, state, county offices: Closed.

SCHOOLS

  • Public: Closed.
  • UH: No classes; libraries closed.

PUBLIC SERVICES

  • Libraries: All closed.
  • TheBus: Operating on the schedule used for federal holidays.
  • Street parking: Free, except for metered Kalakaua Avenue spaces adjacent to Kapi'olani Park; holiday towaway parking as permitted by sign; municipal lot meters must be fed.
  • Traffic: No coning.
  • Trash: Regular Thursday residential and business pickup.
  • Landfills, transfer stations: Open.
  • Open Markets: Not operating.
  • Municipal golf courses: Open.
  • Mail: Post offices closed; no regular residential and business delivery; no collection (blue) box pickups.
  • Handi-Van: Operating, 6 a.m. to midnight.
  • Humane Society: Open, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Blood bank: Downtown center closed; Dillingham headquarters open, 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

FINANCIAL SERVICES

  • Banks/savings and loans: Most closed.
  • Stock market: Closed.
  • Credit unions: Most closed.

MUSEUMS/INSTITUTIONS

  • National Memorial Cemetery (Punchbowl): Open.
  • Arizona Memorial: Open.
  • Polynesian Cultural Center: Open.
  • Contemporary Museum art galleries, grounds, gift shop and cafe: Closed.
  • Bishop Museum: Open.
  • Honolulu Zoo: Open.
  • Japanese Cultural Center: Closed.
  • Waikiki Aquarium: Open.
  • Honolulu Academy of Arts: Closed.
  • Botanical Gardens, including Foster Garden, Ho'omaluhia, Wahiawa and Koko Head: Open.
