• A Law Week column in the April 28 Opinion section contained an error that changed the meaning of a sentence. In the column, Circuit Court Judge Joel August said Hawai'i's appellate courts have ruled that judges, in construing a statute, must give effect to the plain and obvious meaning of the text. The sentence quoting Justice Antonin Scalia should have read: In this regard, all judges, in the words of Justice Antonin Scalia of the U.S. Supreme Court, should be "textualists."
• Matthew Harrell will not be serving chitlins in the restaurant he hopes to open in Chuuk. A Business story posted Friday inaccurately included that as a menu item.
• The Travel Channel's show on the "Top Ten Hawaiian Beach Resorts" was shown at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. yesterday. An item in the Left Lane column posted yesterday gave an incorrect time. The show also will be aired at noon Saturday on the Travel Channel.
