• "Road Movie" will be shown at Windward Community College's Paliku Theatre at 4 and 8 p.m. Saturday. There is no Sunday program. Incorrect information was given in an Island Life story posted yesterday.

• According to newspaper accounts from the 1930s, Daisy the elephant was purchased with money raised by public subscription and donated to the zoo in 1916. A Local News story posted Sunday incorrectly said the elephant was donated.

• According to meteorological records, hurricanes have hit parts of O'ahu but there have not been documented, sustained hurricane-force winds in Honolulu since at least 1915. A Local News story posted yesterday said Kaumakapili Church had withstood two hurricanes.

• Sous chef Gary Matsumoto and pastry cook Matt Figueroa continue their presentation of menu items from Alan Wong's Restaurant from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at Lyon Arboretum. An item in a Taste calendar posted yesterday carried an incorrect date.
