• Mel Hanohano, a teacher at Kailua Elementary School, will serve on the governor's Citizens to Achieve Reform in Education committee. The name of the school was incorrect in a Local News story posted on Thursday.

• The city's new identification cards that enable seniors and the disabled to obtain passes and ride TheBus at reduced rates must be renewed after four years. A Local News story on Page B1 in some editions yesterday incorrectly said that cards do not need to be renewed. Also, the Blaisdell Center processing area for the ID cards and passes will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. next Monday through Friday. Yesterday's story had incorrect hours. Starting Monday, the ID cards and passes will be available at TheBus offices on Middle Street. The date was incorrect in yesterday's story.
