• In a story posted yesterday, state Ethics Commission executive director Dan Mollway was talking generally about the issue of private contributions to the salaries of public employees. The story should have said that Mollway was not talking specifically about the employment contract of University of Hawai'i football coach June Jones.

• Water use on O'ahu averaged 159.97 million gallons a day in the week ending Wednesday. A chart and story posted yesterday contained an incorrect number.
