Running

Big Island benefit run set — Big Island police officers, along with various law enforcement agencies, will hold the First Hawaiian Bank Troy Barboza Law Enforcement Torch Runs to benefit the Hawai'i Special Olympic games.

The events will be held April 10 in Hilo and April 18 in Kona.

• Tennis anyone? Tennis enthusiasts between 35 and 65 are invited to compete in the 23rd Kapalua Junior Vet/Senior Tennis Championships May 7-9 at Kapalua Resort on Maui.
