Sean Medeiros hit a two-run double to highlight a five-run fifth inning as undefeated Kailua defeated McKinley, 10-2, in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Eastern Division baseball game at Kailua.

Chris Mahelona and Aaron Kent combined on a four-hitter.

Kevin Matsumoto was 4 for 4 and had two RBIs for the Surfriders. Kekoa Sua had three hits, including a double.

MILILANI 4, KAPOLEI 2: Kelsey Nakata's single to right-center field drove in Chaz Miyashiro and Reid Hirata in a three-run fifth inning that lifted the host Trojans past the Hurricanes in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Western Division game.

Mililani added an insurance run in the sixth when a Kapolei error in a rundown allowed Jaron Hanzawa to score.

BALDWIN WINS TWO: Baldwin beat Moloka'i twice this weekend to remain unbeaten in Maui Interscholastic League baseball.

The Bears beat the Farmers 4-2 in eight innings on Friday and 10-9 on Saturday at Ho'olehua, Moloka'i.

Baldwin (10-0) is 2 1/2 games ahead of Maui and Lahainaluna, who will meet at 4 p.m. tomorrow at Iron Maehara Stadium in Wailuku. Baldwin and Maui will play for the junior varsity regular season title following the Maui-Lahainaluna game.



• ST. ANTHONY 10, KA'AHUMANU HOU 0: Korri Kamaka and Panfilo Bascar combined on a two-hitter to lift the Trojans over the Lions in an MIL game.

Kamaka struck out four batters and Bascar faced the minimum six in relief. Bascar also batted 2 for 4 with a home run and 3 RBIs.
