• The overall winner of the 24-Hour Fitness Honolulu Triathlon was Nick Hastie with a time of 2:04:29. Mark Speck's time was 2:07:40, but he was the first to cross the finish line because the competition had staggered start times. A Local News story posted yesterday was not clear.

• Simon Whitfield, the winner of Sunday's U.S. Olympic Trials Triathlon, finished the race in 1 hour, 55 minutes and 52 seconds. A Sports story posted yesterday had the wrong time.

• Natasha Lokelani Lopez of Halau Mohala 'Ilima was second runner-up for Miss Aloha Hula and was a co-winner of the Hawaiian Language Award in the Merrie Monarch Festival. The halau's name was misspelled in the results listing posted yesterday.

• Frederic Bush will speak at 7 tonight at the Friends of Sabeel meeting at the Church of the Crossroads and at 2 p.m. Thursday at Chaminade University. Incorrect times were listed in the Faith section's calendar and briefs posted Saturday.
