• William B. Richardson Jr. is one of six former liquor inspectors who have pleaded guilty in connection with a bribery investigation. A Local News story posted Thursday and a Local News story posted on Aug. 15, 2002, did not use his complete name. He is not related to former Hawai'i chief justice William S. Richardson or his son William K. Richardson.

• The North Shore Outdoor Circle and Dillingham Ranch "Appetites of Asia" fund-raiser will be May 29. The fashion show will be by Anne Namba. The deadline for tickets is May 19. A news brief posted Sunday gave the wrong date for the fund-raiser, misspelled Namba's name and failed to give the deadline for ticket purchases.

• A commercial product called boiled linseed oil can be used to restore, clean and polish wood furniture. Raw linseed oil is flammable and should not be boiled at home. A Scoops item posted Saturday was wrong. Do not boil the linseed oil.
