• The book signing by author Dorothea Buckingham scheduled for noon Saturday at Borders Books & Music at Ward Centre has been canceled. The event was listed in the Lit Beat calendar posted Sunday.

• Aloha Festivals ribbons can be purchased statewide at select Hilo Hattie stores, 7-Eleven stores, Safeway stores and Hawaiian Airlines ticket offices, or at www.alohafestivals.com. The ribbons entitle bearers to discounts at participating restaurants and retailers, such as Baskin-Robbins and Waikele Premium Outlets on O'ahu. Information in an article posted Monday contained incorrect information.

• Two photos of artwork displayed at Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties that appeared in an Island Life article yesterday were taken by Advertiser photographer Eugene Tanner. A photo credit was incorrect.
