The O'ahu Stars 12-under team that is headed to the Cal Ripken World Series in Aberdeen, Md., will be holding a Krispy Kreme fund-raiser tomorrow.

The sale, from about 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will be held at Market City Shopping Center (next to Blockbuster), Chevron Station at 3541 Harding Ave., in front of Longs Drug store at Mililani Towne Center and Pearl City Shopping Center. Donations to the team can also be made by calling Paige Oshiro at 479-2239.

The O'ahu Stars defeated Visalia (Calif.), 9-1, on Tuesday to win the Pacific Southwest Regional in Fallon, Nev. The World Series will start Aug. 14.



POLO

Italian national team to play Hawai'i club

The Italian National Polo team, ranked in the top 10 internationally, will play the Hawai'i Polo Club Sunday and Aug. 15 at 2 p.m. at Mokule'ia. Gates open at 11 a.m.
