James Ku, right, brought in the biggest fish and took the top prize at the first S. Tokunaga Store 2004 Ulua Challenge on the Big Island. Ku, of Kohala, took 30 minutes to land the 83.6-pound fish and won nearly $2,000 in merchandise for his efforts. Pictured with Ku, from left: Ronald Lee, Earl Uehara and Michael Ashimine. "He landed it himself," Uehara said of Ku. "Two other guys had to help him carry it up the cliff."
