Fifty teams are from the Mainland and 10 are from American Samoa, Australia, Mexico, the Philippines and Puerto Rico. The remaining 40 teams are from Hawai'i.

Jay Johnstone, a 20-year veteran of Major League Baseball, will host the opening ceremonies tomorrow at 9 a.m.

Johnstone started with the California Angels in 1966 where he was named the American League rookie of the year.

He played five years for the Angels and then had stints with the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees, San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers.
