Soccer clinic features UK coaches

Professional soccer coaching instructors from Manchester, England, will be conducting two soccer clinics at the Waipi'o Soccer Complex in Waipahu.

The first clinic starts Monday and runs for six days. The second clinic is also six days and starts June 14. Each daily session lasts for three hours and starts daily at 8:30 a.m.

The instructors are hosted by the Honolulu United Football Club. Open to youth players and coaches. The clinics are designed to improve the skill level of players and coaches.

Help from college players

Soccer Camp, featuring current college soccer players as coaches, will run for two sessions this month.

The first session starts Monday and runs five days, and the second is from June 14-18. Both are at Kapi'olani Park.

Full-day and half-day programs are available for the clinic, which is sponsored by the Ho-nolulu Bulls Soccer Club.
