Fourth-grader Damon Jordan, right, was among Iroquois Point Elementary School pupils who tied yellow ribbons yesterday in a Military Appreciation Week ceremony honoring fathers serving on Pearl Harbor-based submarines. Liz Green, Parent Community Network coordinator, assisted Damon in attaching his ribbon to a fence around a propane tank that the children have adopted as their own "sub." More than 85 percent of the school's pupils come from military families. Damon's dad serves on the USS Tucson.
