The Hawai'i Polo Club has organized a pair of themed events for two of its upcoming Sunday games at Mokule'ia Polo Farm.
This week, on Father's Day, the club will feature "Salsa Sunday."
Salsa dancing on the field will follow the day's matches, and a special menu will be offered at the Beach Bar & Grill.
July 3 is Military Appreciation Day. All military personnel and their families will receive free admission.
Matches begin at 2 p.m. both weeks. Admission is $7 for adults, and free for children.
Honolulu among best cities for running
Honolulu is the 19th-best running city in the country, according to the most recent issue of Runner's World magazine.
In the magazine's July issue, cities were ranked on a basis of the number of runners within a city's population, amount of park land, local weather and crime data, and number of annual road races. A poll also was factored in.
San Francisco, San Diego and New York City were named as the top three cities, respectively.
