Academy of the Pacific senior Kaimana Komine played for one of the Interscholastic League of Honolulu's smallest schools but came away with the ILH Division II league's biggest individual award: Player of the Year.

Komine, a 6-foot-3 senior, began the season with a big week by scoring 20 points against Hanalani, 21 points vs. Lutheran and 22 points against Word of Life.
He later notched 18 points against Kamehameha, 19 vs. Punahou and 21 against Iolani.
Komine is joined on the ILH Division II all-star first team by Saint Louis' Bo Ronduen, Hanalani's Justin Suderman, Hawai'i Baptist's Brandon Arquero, Kamehameha's Kaipo Villa and Word of Life's Brashton Satele.
Kamehameha's Roger Watson was named Coach of the Year after the Warriors went 11-1.
