Get set for parades in Wai'anae and Hawai'i Kai

Holiday parade season has begun. Here's what's scheduled today (drivers, you have been warned!):

  • Wai'anae Coast Christmas Parade, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Starts at Wai'anae Boat Harbor, to Farrington Highway, ending at Wai'anae Mall. With 1,000 marchers, 30 vehicles, 30 floats, five bands and three horse units.

  • Keiki Kalikimaka Hawai'i Kai Christmas Parade, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Starts at Kamiloiki Park at Lunalilo Home Road and Hawai'i Kai Drive, continues on Lunalilo, ending at Koko Marina Shopping Center. With 1,000 marchers, 30 vehicles and two bands.
