Fujikawa tied for 37th after two rounds in The Crowns

Less than a week after winning his first tournament as a professional, Hawai'i's Tadd Fujikawa will make his first cut in a major tour event.
The 17-year-old Moanalua High School junior shot 1-over-par 71 today for a two-round total of even-par 140 and is tied for 37th in The Crowns at Aichi, Japan.
Fujikawa had three birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey over the 6,514-yard, par-70 (35-35) Nagoya Golf Course Wago Course.
Royken Kawagishi fired a 5-under 65 and is tied with Steve Conran (66) and Satoru Hirota (66) at 6-under 134 for the lead. Three players are tied at 135.
Hilo's Gregory Meyer, a regular on the Japan Golf Tour Organization, started the day tied with Fujikawa at 69 and shot a 74 for 143.
Fujikawa won the Mid-Pacific Open 13 days ago for his first victory as a professional. It was the first time he made a cut since turning pro last July.
