Editor's note: Starting today, KGMB9's Malika Dudley and Byron Furukawa will share their top 9 things to do over the coming week. Catch their Around Town segment every Thursday at 6:45 a.m. on "Sunrise."

Malika: This weekend, it's all about girl power! We've got DJ Rap on Saturday, the No.1 female DJ in the world spinning at Pipeline Café, and Women's Surf Style magazine is celebrating its sixth anniversary at Se—or Frog's. I can't wait to put my name in for a free surfboard!!

Byron: Hey, let's not leave the guys out! They can head down to the Koko Head shooting range for the HRA shooting sports fair. I'm a pretty good shot and I'll be there Saturday. Malika, you think you got skills?

Malika: Um, I think I'll stick to flowers and tiaras. One event I'm looking forward to for next week is the Miss Hawaii Pageant on June 27. Nicole Fox is giving away her crown and there are 30 contestants this year. That's a record. Should be a fun night. But let's not forget about our dads this weekend!

Byron: That's right, Sunday is Father's Day. What better way to show him your appreciation than by taking him to Sea Life Park for the first Father's Day Hawaiian Music Festival featuring Kalapana!

Here are our top 9 Around Town (in no particular order):

1) DJ Rap at Pipeline Café, Saturday.

2) Women's Surf Style magazine 6th anniversary party, Saturday, Se—or Frog's.

3) Hawaii Rifle Association Shooting Fair, Saturday and Sunday, Koko Head Shooting Complex.

4) Father's Day Hawaiian Music Festival, Sunday, Sea Life Park.

5) Father Look-Alike Contest, Saturday, Windward Mall.

6) Fanny Pak, Saturday, 50th State Fair, Aloha Stadium.

7) 62nd Annual Friends of the Library Booksale, Saturday through June 28, McKinley High School cafeteria.

8) Sean Na'auao at Moonlight Mele, Thursday, Bishop Museum's Great Lawn.

9) Bank of Hawaii Family Sunday, Famous Fathers theme, Honolulu Academy of Arts, Sunday.

Have a good weekend and see you AROUND TOWN!
