JOHN AH CHOY AHLO JR., 62, of Honolulu, died Jan. 19, 2001. Survived by sisters, Hazel Balisbisana, Lorraine Bahilot, Georgiana Aquino and Theresa Kekahuna; brothers, Andrew Naeole and Bernard Kekahuna; companion, Mac Gomes. Private service held. Arrangements by Mililani Downtown Mortuary.

IDA M. CARVALHO, 91, of Honolulu, died Jan. 26, 2001. Survived by son, Herbert; daughter, Bertha Carvalho Newsome; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Moses Mattos; sisters, Deolinda Perreira, Mathilda Hill and Irene Mattos. ROSE DELAPINA EVANGELISTA, 73, of Vallejo, Calif., died Jan. 23, 2001. Born in Kalaheo, Kauai.
