By Brandon Masuoka
Advertiser Sports Writer

An 68-year-old man was stabbed to death in his Waianae home this morning and his wife arrested at the scene.

Police said the victim was stabbed multiple times in the front and back. He was found dead in the home's master bedroom.

His wife was taken to the Waianae police station.

A neighbor identified the victim as George Nakamura, a former inspector with the city's construction and design department.

Police were called to 86-144 Puhano St. at about 7:22 a.m. The home is located less than a mile away from Waianae Mall.
