Fifth-ranked Crusaders roll over Monarchs, 67-43

Justin Harris scored a game-high 15 points and Jason Rivers 14 as host St. Louis defeated Damien, 67-43, in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu boys basketball game last night.

St. Louis, ranked fifth in the latest HawaiiSportsNetwork.com coaches and media poll, erupted for 29 points in the third quarter in winning for the ninth time in 11 ILH games.

Damien, held to just four points in the first quarter, was led by Brandon Ahakuelo’s 10 points. The Monarchs, who trailed 25-15 at the half, fell to 2-10.

Punahou 55, Kamehameha 51: Ryan Zabriskie scored a game-high 16 points as the Buffanblu defeated the Warriors.

Nalu Perkins and Willy Melemai each scored 12 points for Kamehameha, which led 24-22 at the half.
