Perry, Price win sales award
KSSK radio’s Michael W. Perry and Larry Price were named Sales Persons of the Year for 2000 by the Sales and Marketing Executives of Honolulu. It was the first time in 44 years that the organization has awarded the honor to two people.
The group’s annual award honors individuals whose efforts have enhanced the image of Hawai‘i while improving the quality of life in the community.
Dole Food Co. promotes Kern
Dole Food Co. Inc. announced the promotion yesterday of Lawrence A. Kern to president and chief operating officer, reporting directly to David H. Murdock, chairman and chief executive.
Kern, who joined Dole in 1993, also was named to the company’s board of directors.
