DARRAH KELLY, former accounting manager for ALOHA PETROLEUM LTD., has been promoted to assistant controller.

LORI McCARNEY, executive vice president of BANK OF HAWAII’s marketing, products and communications group, has been named president of the BANK MARKETING ASSOCIATION. The 3,000-member group is a national affiliate of the American Bankers Association. McCarney, also was appointed the 2001 vice chairwoman of the ABA’s Communication’s Council.

DORSEY BRADY, who oversaw the OUTRIGGER GUAM RESORT through construction, opening and successful operation, returns to Hawaii as general manager of Maui’s OUTRIGGER WAILEA RESORT after completion of a $25 million renovation.

JOHN LANDGRAF of First Hawaiian Bank’s commercial real estate division has been named to his second presidency of the FRIENDS OF THE CANCER RESEARCH CENTER OF HAWAII board of directors. Other officers of the nonprofit, cancer research fund-raising support group are vice-president, LILA JOHNSON of the state Department of Health’s Tobacco Prevention and Education Branch; secretary, JAMES WRISTON of Ashford & Wriston, Attorneys at Law; and treasurer, Larry Rodriguez of Ernst & Young LLP.

JAMIE GENTRY, former executive director of the USS Arizona Memorial, has been named director of retail for POLYNESIAN CULTURAL CENTER. He also will oversee expansion of the Web site and production of a new Polynesian products catalog.

RENAISSANCE ILIKAI WAIKIKI has named CHIP HAWKINS executive chef. Hawkins has more than 20 years’ Mainland food and beverage experience, predominately at Marriott properties.

JOHN R. REESE, formerly senior vice president and marketing director for the Los Angeles division of California Bank and Trust (formerly Sumitomo Bank of California), has been named new senior vice president for marketing for Hawaii’s CITY BANK.

ISLAND INSURANCE has announced three appointments: CRAIG A. URADOMO, promoted to manager of the Product Development Department, Commercial Insurance Division; JOAO W. SANTOS, named reinsurance and regulatory manager, including responsibility for monitoring regulatory compliance issues; and GARY T. FUJIMOTO, appointed manager, Underwriting Department, Commercial Insurance Division.

SUTOBIN HALIM has been named associate at architectural firm GROUP 70 INTERNATIONAL INC.

JOHN P. HARRIS, most recently Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard chief information officer, has been named to the same position, as well as group vice president, for the SERVCO PACIFIC INC. family of businesses.

HENRY ENG has been chosen to lead the board of directors of the LEEWARD OAHU TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION of area landowners and developers, working with the government and community to improve transportation opportunities. Other officers include: president-elect, DARWIN HAMAMOTO, of the city Department of Design and Construction; vice president, JANICE TAKAHASHI, state Housing and Community Development Corp. of Hawaii; second vice-president, DEBBIE LUNING of Gentry Companies; secretary, BILL BLAISDELL of Ko Olina Development LLC; and treasurer, CAROL LILLEY KWAN, of Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii Inc.

Two new sales and marketing executives have been announced at KHNL and KFVE television stations: JOHN SERRAO and ERIC AKIONA.

MASON WILLIAMS, managing director of insurance brokerage and risk management firm MARSH HAWAII, has been elected to the OAHU ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BOARD. He heads the board’s investor development committee.

College-level administration veteran JULIE GALATY, formerly of Chaminade University, has been named admissions/student services director for pre-kindergarten to sixth-grade student body of HOLY NATIVITY SCHOOL in üina Haina.
