H. BAIRD KIDWELL, a former associate justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court and prominent Honolulu attorney, died Dec. 26 in Medford, Ore. He was 89. See story.

RANJIT G. COORAY, the educational and volunteer program specialist at the Lyon Arboretum in Manoa, died Wednesday in Honolulu. He was 57. See story.

LINDA KIKUE ASUNCION, 60, of Honolulu, died Dec. 12, 2000. Born in Honolulu. A retired Kuakini Medical Center housekeeper. Survived by sons, Benny Jr., Clarence and Eric Luna; daughters, Christine Kealoha, Cheryl Hauhio, Veronica Kaawa, Penny Luna and Sonnie Rodrigues; 27 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Martin, Lawrence, Franklin and Thomas Tadlas; sisters, Bertha Lacar and Shirley Opinia. DANIEL KAMANAWAOKALANI BARRIONUEBO SR., 71, of Honolulu, died Jan. 1, 2001. Born in Honolulu. Retired from Hawaii Tug and Barge Company.
