Three-acre Waikiki property listed

Odakyu Hawai
i Corp. has put a 15-parcel property containing the Ohana Waikiki Hobron Hotel up for sale at $38 million through local real estate firm Colliers Monroe Friedlander.

The 3-acre, mostly fee-simple site between the Renaissance Ilikai and the Hawaii Convention Center contains mostly low-rise, multifamily apartments built in the 1940s and 1950s. It is zoned for apartment use with an allowance for the hotel.

Broker Doug Pothul said he expects interest from multi-family and assisted-living developers.
