Pearl City boys improve basketball record to 5-0

Terry Ayers scored 12 of his game-high 25 points in the fourth quarter as Pearl City edged visiting Campbell, 72-70, in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division boys basketball game.

Ty Jarrett added 20 points and Kristopher Liederbach 11, including three 3-pointers, to help the Chargers improve to 5-0.

Randy Saramosing scored 17 points and Chad Bailey 16 for Campbell, which led 51-48 entering the fourth quarter.
