Teams from seven of 11 schools will compete in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division Championships today. Junior varsity teams will start at 1 p.m., with the varsity following at about 2 p.m.
Officially called Pep Squad Championships, they were sanctioned as high school sports by the public-school OIA and the private-school Interscholastic League of Honolulu earlier this year.
