Basketball

Tomorrow, Jan. 28, Feb. 4, 11, 18 — Junior Basketball Hawaii Girls and Boys Basketball Clinic. Focuses on teaching young players the fundamentals of ball handling, passing, rebounding and defense. Softball

January- Free Girls Fast-Pitch Softball Clinic. At Palolo Field, 3 to 5 p.m. Clinic each Sunday. Registration for the upcoming ASA season will also be taken. Information: Kellett Hussey, 737-5544.

January — Kaikamahine Softball Club. 12-year-old girls fast pitch team looking for experienced ball players-all positions. Season starts in June. Will be traveling to Mainland tournaments. Player must be born in 1989. Information: Coach John, 478-1720 or 672-8341.


Tennis

USA 1-2-3 Tennis Lessons. At Diamond Head Tennis Center. For beginners and advanced beginners, ages 6-13. Fee: six one-hour lessons for $18. Lessons are Mondays 9 to 10 a.m. adult adv. beginner; 10 to 11 a.m. adult intermediate; 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. adult beginners; 5 to 6 p.m. youth 6-8 yrs.; 6 to 7 p.m. adult beginner; 7 to 8 p.m. adult adv. beginner; and Wednesdays 5 to 6 p.m. youth 9-12 yrs.; 6 to 7 p.m. adults adv. beginner; and 7 to 8 p.m. adult intermediate.
