A symposium on Asia-Pacific architecture is expected to bring hundreds of design professionals to Honolulu in April.

The symposium, "Sensible Design and Smart Practice," is scheduled for April 5-7 at the University of Hawai‘i School of Architecture on the Manoa campus. It’s the only conference of its kind that brings together professionals and academics to discuss the topics relevant to the Asia-Pacific region.

More than 40 speakers will join in three sessions that focus on how to improve buildings, cities and the living environment in the region.
