For 20 years, Bopp has collected vintage aloha shirts and Hang Ten shirts and shorts from the 60s and 70s. He has dozens and dozens of each. Where do you shop for them? Salvation Army Savers on Dillingham Calvary by the Sea (thrift store) Leahi Hospital thrift store I have good luck in Portland, Ore., too. They have great stuff and they don't know the value, so they price it really low. What are you looking for? Things that remind me of growing up in Hawai i. Vintage is just a buzzword. The '60s and '70s, those days as a kid on the beach that's what's magical to me. What are your favorite labels? Hang Ten Keone Iolani Surf Line Hawaii Tori Richard The Ritz Reyn's Napili. What are you willing to pay more for to get top quality? Stylish shoes and socks. I have a pair of Missoni socks. I'll never be able to afford a Missoni garment, but, hey, I love the socks. Your favorite music? My taste is supereclectic: jazz, New Wave, punk rock, '30s stuff, Dizzy Gillespie, Black Flag, conscious rap. What's on your iPod? I don't have one. I just listen to KTUH. Your favorite techie tool? None. I'm totally not into technology. I'm a one-fingered bandit when it comes to the computer. I use it only to buy used bicycle parts. Little-known fact about you?
