MARY SAEKO CHIHARA, 83, of Lihue, Kauai, died Jan. 27, 2001. Born in Darlow, Colo. Survived by sons, Ted Akira Chihara and Walter Haru Chihara; brother, Henry Tsuyoshi Hashi; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Service held.

The family of ALBERT "TED" THEODORE FREITAS SR., 68, of Honolulu, who died Jan. 24, 2001, asks that flowers be omitted for visitation and service from 9 a.m. tomorrow at Holy Trinity Church. This updates Wednesday’s Advertiser obituary.

GAUDENCIO "GODIN" NUESCA GAMAYO, 78, of Ewa Beach, died Jan. 31, 2001. Born in Pinili, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. A retired Kaumakani Sugar Plantation employee. Survived by wife, Maria; son, Willie; daughters, Fe and Janette Reyes; brother, Basilio; eight grandchildren. Visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary Mauka Chapel. KAMEKO GOYA, 90, of Kahului, Maui, died Feb. 3, 2001. Born in Waipahu. A retired Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Co. field worker. Survived by sons, Kamesuke "Tony" and Kamekichi "Herbert Zimba"; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Ralph and Roy; sister, Ellen Miyake.
